Why Fibreglass?

There are no liners to replace, no cracks in concrete to repair and no tiles to re-fix. Fibreglass pools are the easiest pools to fit and maintain. Make your life easier and enjoy the pool more.

The benefits of owning one of our fibreglass pools

Unlike traditional poured concrete and liner pools, a fibreglass swimming pool is a prefabricated shell that is set in an excavated site.

It is somewhat similar to a back garden built pool but the similarity ends at the appearance. The inside of the fibreglass is sealed to produce a non -porous, smooth surface that is very unlike concrete. The best part is that the surface does not affect the chemistry of the water as it does not interact with it.

The other benefits of fibreglass and points to consider are:

  1. Fibreglass is 17 times stronger than concrete, with a flexible strength which increases with age.
  2. Cleaning a fiberglass swimming pool does not require any scrubbing and uses less harsh chemicals for cleaning, which is great for people who are allergic to chlorine and hate scrubbing.
  3. Concrete develops cracks and need re-plastering on a regular basis.
  4. Painting a concrete pool is a cumbersome job.
  5. Even vinyl liners that do not crack do eventually develop faults and require replacement. Fibreglass swimming pools are devoid of any such maintenance and never deteriorate. The material does not develop cracks easily and is also earthquake proof. Also there are no tiles to replace.
  6. The material bends with the ground and does not split under pressure.
  7. Lights, skimmers and fittings are factory fitted to make life simple.
  8. The pool is installed in 8 – 10 working days with minimal disruption to the household.

So a fibreglass pool manufactured and installed by us is really a simple procedure with minimal fuss and a terrific result!
